These Terms and Conditions apply to all German4FUN classes and courses, including trial lessons, multi-week programs, and online lessons. By registering for any German4FUN offering, you agree to the following terms.
1. Trial Lessons
Trial lessons are one-time sessions designed to introduce participants to the German4FUN teaching style and learning environment.
Trial lessons may be offered in person or online, depending on the program.
Trial lessons last approximately 90 minutes.
Payment must be made in advance using the payment methods provided during registration.
Payments for trial lessons are non-refundable unless the session is cancelled by German4FUN.
Participation in a trial lesson does not guarantee or reserve a spot in a future course.
2. Courses and Class Format
German4FUN offers small-group German language courses designed to support interactive learning and individual attention.
Courses may be offered in person or online.
Courses consist of weekly sessions.
The session length, total number of weeks, and pricing are specified at the time of registration.
Group sizes are intentionally kept small to encourage interaction and personalized learning.
3. Minimum Enrollment
In-person group courses require a minimum of five registered participants.
If the minimum enrollment is not reached by the stated registration deadline, German4FUN reserves the right to:
• Combine the course with another group if appropriate
• Cancel the course
If a course is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, all payments will be fully refunded. Registered students will be informed within one day after the registration deadline.
4. Enrollment and Payment
After registering, students will receive payment instructions by email.
Enrollment is confirmed only after full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.
If you experience any issues during registration or payment, please contact German4FUN directly.
5. Attendance and Missed Classes
Students are encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions.
Missed classes, regardless of reason, are not refundable and cannot be made up.
Arriving late does not entitle a student to additional time or a refund.
6. Cancellations by German4FUN
If the teacher must cancel a session, students will be notified as early as possible.
Cancelled sessions will be rescheduled after the original course end date at no additional cost to students whenever possible.
If a cancellation occurs with short notice due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund may be issued at German4FUN’s discretion.
7. Refund Policy
Trial Lessons
Cancellations made seven or more days before the scheduled trial lesson are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than seven days before the trial lesson are non-refundable.
Courses
Cancellations made fourteen or more days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than fourteen days before the start date are non-refundable unless the spot can be filled by another participant.
Once a course has started, payments are non-refundable.
8. Online Lessons
Online lessons are conducted through an agreed-upon video platform.
Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a suitable device.
Technical issues on the student’s side do not entitle the student to a refund or additional session time.
If technical issues occur on the teacher’s side, the session will be rescheduled.
9. Learning Outcomes
German4FUN courses are designed to support beginner language learning in a structured and supportive environment.
Progress depends on attendance, participation, and individual learning pace.
No guarantees are made regarding specific language levels or learning outcomes.
10. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to treat the teacher and fellow participants with respect and courtesy.
Disruptive, disrespectful, or aggressive behavior may result in removal from the course.
In such cases, no refund will be issued.
11. Students Under 18
For courses involving minors, parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that students arrive on time and are picked up promptly after class.
German4FUN is not responsible for supervision outside scheduled class times.
Students must follow classroom rules and instructions to ensure a respectful and safe learning environment.
12. Schedule Changes
German4FUN reserves the right to adjust the course schedule when necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness, weather conditions, or facility availability.
Students will be informed as early as possible if schedule adjustments are required.
Cancelled sessions will be rescheduled whenever possible.
13. Privacy
German4FUN collects only the personal information necessary for course registration and communication.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
14. Liability
German4FUN provides educational services in a safe and respectful environment. However, participation in courses and activities is at the student’s own risk.
German4FUN shall not be held liable for personal injury, loss, damage, technical issues, or circumstances beyond its control, except where required by law.
15. Changes to These Terms
German4FUN reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The most current version will always be available on the German4FUN website.
