How the A1–B2 Learning Path Works

Kids, teens, and adults all move through the same structured A1–B2 path over time, in the format that fits them best.

Each level always consists of 4 classes. For adults, each class runs for 8 weeks. A1 and A2 each include 16 chapters total, which means 4 chapters per class. B1 and B2 each include 12 chapters total, so those levels move at 3 chapters per class to allow more time for deeper learning.

Start Here: A1 Beginner Path (Pensacola In-Person)

If you want a clear local path, A1 is four short courses, each lasting 8 weeks. Start with Beginner I if you are new to German.

Beginner I

Chapters 1–4

True beginner course. No prior German needed.

Beginner II

Chapters 5–8

For students who completed Beginner I or an equivalent level.

Beginner III

Chapters 9–12

Builds speaking confidence and new grammar step by step.

Beginner IV

Chapters 13–16

Final A1 step. Finish the full A1 level.
