About Your Instructor

Gesa teaching German in Pensacola

My name is Gesa. I am a native German speaker with more than 25 years of teaching and youth development experience. Before moving to the United States, I taught as an elementary school teacher in Germany, working with young learners in structured language environments.

I have taught more than 1,300 hours of German through platforms like Preply and Berlitz, and I love helping adults discover how fun and practical German can be.

My goal is simple: You should feel welcome, relaxed, and confident enough to say your first German sentences and keep building from there.

Next Step

If you’re ready to start, the best place to begin is the 8-week German beginner course (A1). It includes structured materials, weekly progress, and a supportive small-group setting.
