Terms and Conditions – German4FUN

These Terms and Conditions apply to all German4FUN lessons and courses, including trial lessons and multi-week programs. By registering for any German4FUN offering, you agree to the following terms.

Trial Lesson

The trial lesson is a one-time, in-person session designed to give participants an introduction to the German4FUN teaching style and learning environment.

  • The trial lesson lasts approximately 90 minutes.
  • The cost is $20 per person, payable in advance via Venmo or cash.
  • Payments are non-refundable unless the teacher cancels the session.
  • All materials are provided. Participants do not need to bring anything.
  • Participation in a trial lesson does not guarantee or reserve a spot in a regular course.

Courses and Class Format

German4FUN offers small-group, in-person German language courses.

  • Courses consist of weekly sessions.
  • Session length, total number of weeks, and pricing are specified at the time of registration.
  • Group size is intentionally kept small to support interaction and individual attention.

Enrollment and Payment

  • After registering, students will receive payment instructions by email.
  • Enrollment is confirmed only after full payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.
  • If you experience any issues during registration or payment, please contact German4FUN directly.

Attendance and Missed Classes

  • Students are encouraged to attend all scheduled sessions.
  • Missed classes, regardless of reason, are not refundable and cannot be made up.
  • Arriving late does not entitle a student to additional time or compensation.

Cancellations by the Teacher

  • If the teacher must cancel a session, students will be notified as early as possible.
  • Cancelled sessions will be rescheduled after the original course end date at no additional cost.
  • If a cancellation occurs with short notice due to unforeseen circumstances, a partial refund may be issued at the teacher’s discretion.

Refund Policy (Before a Course Begins)

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date are non-refundable unless the spot can be filled by another participant.

Learning Outcomes

German4FUN courses are designed to support beginner language learning in a structured and supportive environment.

  • Progress depends on attendance, participation, and individual learning pace.
  • No guarantees are made regarding specific language levels or outcomes.

Code of Conduct

Students are expected to treat the teacher and fellow participants with respect.

  • Disruptive, disrespectful, or aggressive behavior may result in removal from the course.
  • In such cases, no refund will be issued.
